Internship programs provide a select group of exceptional graduate-level students with invaluable firsthand exposure to the work carried out by JDS. These internships are specifically designed to complement academic studies focused on development-oriented subjects by offering practical experience in various facets of multilateral technical cooperation.

Internships are conducted at our Head Office/Project Office and encompass a diverse range of assignments tailored to meet individual interests and the organization’s requirements. Every effort is made to ensure a suitable match between the intern’s preferences and the organization’s needs.

The duration of internship assignments varies based on the availability and academic obligations of the intern, as well as JDS’s operational requirements. Part-time and full-time internships are available throughout the year.

Qualifications for interns are assessed through a competitive selection process. Prospective interns must be enrolled in a graduate-level degree program in a development-related field such as economics, English, public or business administration, or environmental studies.
