Volunteerism is deeply ingrained in the lifestyle of the Bangladeshi people, serving as a fundamental aspect of their daily lives. The act of sharing resources and skills for the betterment of family members or the community is a regular practice. Remarkably, over 16 million individuals are engaged in volunteer work annually, actively contributing their time and effort in diverse areas such as education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and disaster response.

JDS encompasses a wide range of activities, reflecting its comprehensive approach to volunteering. These activities encompass various aspects, including the recruitment of volunteers, mobilization of resources, advocacy campaigns on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Human Rights, training programs, research endeavors, project design, JDS system support, partnership building, and emergency response. Presently, our organization collaborates with numerous youth organizations, providing support to enhance their networks and strengthen their capacities.

By undertaking these multifaceted initiatives, JDS aims to maximize its impact and create meaningful change within communities.

Requirements:

• University degree(Honors/Equivalent or Masters/Equivalent)
• Age at least 25 year
• Relevant working experience
• Strong commitment to the values and principles of volunteerism
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Ability to adjust to difficult living conditions
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skill
